Places to visit through the Sacred Valley of the Incas:
Písaq is located 33 km from Cusco by asphalted road. It has an “old town”, an archaeological site considered one of the most important of Cusco, and a “modern village” of colonial origin. Písaq also has a Sunday market which attracts thousands of visitors and people from remote communities, dressed in colorful, traditional attire. That day of the fair, highlights the Promenade varayocs or mayors, who at around 9:30 am go to church to attend the traditional Mass in Quechua.
Typical Inca town located 21 km from Urubamba (2,800 meters). It was named in honor of the chief Ollanta, famous for his affair with an Inca princess, daughter of Pachacutec. One of the best preserved areas lies north of the Hanan Huacaypata square: a total of 15 blocks of houses built of carved stone walls. In the vast archaeological site, located on the hill overlooking the village, structures such as the Temple of the Sun, the Mañaracay or Royal Hall, the Incahuatana and the Baths of Princess. The area has restaurants, hotels and rental of horses and mountain bikes. Ollantaytambo part of a confirmed path ascends to open Malaga (4,200 m) and inner eyebrow toward the mountain, passing through towns such as picturesque Huilloc, home of renowned wayruros or porters.
This town is located 28 km from Cusco on the paved road to Urubamba. It contains the remains of what was the royal hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui, as well as a beautiful colonial temple built on Inca foundations. Its main attraction, however, is its Sunday market, originally dedicated to the exchange of products between villagers of the valley and the high end. Currently, the market is a spectacle of color and movement that causes the fascination of tourists with its range of handicrafts and textiles made in true style.

SACRED VALLEY FULL DAY

During a full day tour we will visit the archaeological complex, typical markets, culture, customs and traditions of the towns of Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chincheros. You’ll also enjoy a cozy atmosphere.
Our staff will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco around 08:15 hrs to board the tourist bus to take us to the various attractions of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Starting the tour, 30 minutes from the city of Cusco, we stop at the market Qorao where you can see and buy beautiful works made by local craftsmen, also have the opportunity to take nice pictures by the marvelous landscape and animals natives like flames.
Continuing, we pass the viewpoint of the Sacred Valley of the Incas; here we can take great views and pictures of the Andes and the Sacred Valley itself. Then the bus will take us to the town of Pisac to visit the local market; then we climb to the archaeological complex of Pisac and will appreciate the agricultural terraces, cemeteries and royal Inca constructions.
Our lunch will be buffet style restaurant in a tourist town of Urubamba.
In the afternoon we headed to Ollantaytambo; there go up first Inca archaeological complex that was built to monitor and protect it from possible invasion, then there will be time to walk through the streets of this small town and thus have a clearer idea of what this military, religious and cultural center during the period of the Inca Empire.
Of returns to the city of Cusco, we visit the picturesque town of Chinchero where we will see the remains of the royal hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui, a beautiful colonial temple with interesting frescoes on the portico (this place was built on the foundations of an Inca building) . We can also admire the Inca walls in the main square of the town, etc.
Finally, we return by bus to Cusco and arrive around 18:30 hrs.
